Gtech took home the award for Growth Business of the Year on another triumphant evening at the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
Held at the Bank House Hotel near Worcester, the ceremony saw Gtech founder, Nick Grey, step up to collect the award, which recognises the company’s significant growth over the past 12 months.
Led by the continued success of the Gtech AirRam cordless vacuum cleaner and the recently launched Gtech Multi handheld vacuum cleaner, the company has established itself amongst the major manufacturers.
It recently equalled its turnover for the whole of 2011 in the month of March 2014 alone.

Chief executive of the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, Mike Ashton, said: “As winner of Chamber of the Year 2013, the Chamber has enjoyed plenty of success this year, and it was a thrill to also celebrate the success of these spectacular local businesses at our annual awards evening.”
This year’s Chamber of Commerce award adds to the main prize – Business of the Year – and the Award For Excellence in Innovation the company won at last year’s event (2013).
