Troubleshooting

Check that the battery is charged

We know it sounds silly, but it’s always worth double checking that your sweeper is actually charged!

Make sure the sweeper is switched off before charging, otherwise it will not take the charge.

Put the sweeper into the charging stand and then plug it into the mains. A red light will appear on the sweeper next to the On/ Off button. Charge the sweeper for the full 3 hours. The light on the sweeper will change from red to amber when partially charged, and from amber to green when fully charged.

Make sure the charger is unplugged

Your sweeper won’t work if the charger is still plugged into both it and the mains, or is still attached to the charging stand. Unplug the charger from the mains and the vacuum, or stand, and try again.

Check that the battery is fitted correctly

The battery is located underneath the sweeper and must be connected correctly and in the right position for it to work.

On the base of the sweeper, by the back wheel, is a battery cover. Unclip the cover and remove the battery from its housing. It will connect to wires with a white battery connector on the end. Press the white release clip on the battery connector and pull it away from the sweeper.

To replace the battery, line up the battery connector with the white terminals inside the battery housing. Make sure the negatives and positives on the connector are on the same sides as those on the terminals (the is a label to show you the correct way). Push the connector into place and reinsert the battery back into its housing. Make sure the wires are pushed neatly underneath the battery itself and replace the battery cover.

The battery terminals may be damaged

If the battery terminals or main body terminals are damaged, it may be preventing your sweeper from functioning properly. Make sure you keep the battery and main body clean in order to maintain your sweeper’s cleaning performance.

Remove the battery and check the terminals for damage. The battery terminals are the white battery connector at the end of the wires. The main body terminals white terminals inside the battery housing. If there are signs of damage beyond usual wear and tear, get in touch with us as we may need to send you a replacement part.

The On/ Off button is faulty

The sweeper is operated by an On/ Off button on the main body. If there is no power and no lights illuminating when the sweeper is switched on and it has been fully charged, the sweeper may be stuck in the ‘off’ position.

Hit the button 3 times with a soft soled slipper to get it back into the ‘on’ position, the sweeper should start and a green light should appear on the sweeper.

If this does not work, get in touch with us as we may need to send you a replacement part.
